Jenna is always the best. In an effort not to over share - I\'ll just say she helps me feel like I\'m not a total burdan when I\'m in her chair even though I need a little bit of extra care. I\'ve felt so good about my hair since I\'ve been seeing her. The salon itself is so great. Intentionally inclusive and accommodating. It\'s not an afterthought it\'s the default here and I love that. The products are lovely so I definitely recommend trying the Davines shampoos/conditioners. Great all around experience. The salon is inviting and a fun space to be in, everyone there was super friendly. Jules was incredibly professional and kind. She is very knowledgeable and takes time to get to know you and your hair, asking questions and explaining everything thoroughly. She gave me a transformation cut on my curly textured hair that I’m still so happy with even a week later. Definitely feel a sense of trust with Jules and will be back!

Zöe was absolutely amazing! This was my first time having someone touch my curly hair since moving from Florida seven months ago. As curly hair people, it takes a lot to allow someone new to touch your hair. I saw her work on instagram and decided to just go for it. I always wanted bangs but could never commit and Zöe did a phenomenal job giving me the extra boost of support needed to go for it. Zöe was absolutely amazing with walking me through every step of my first curly hair appointment with her.

Sav is an absolute godsend with hair. She knows exactly what I want and can interpret what I’m visualizing into reality. Her skill blows my mind every time I visit and not to mention the environment she creates is impeccable. Such a safe space and is always the best part of my day when I can come in. I was changing my hair from a really raised out Green color. Rachel transformed my hair to a new pink color block on top with the under layer being prism. I got some layering and face framing as well. She did it more quickly than I expected and so cir rant and turned out beautiful!

Savannah, my stylist, is amazing! She is super knowledgeable, personable, and kind. I have curly hair and never had it cut by someone who specializes in curly hair and the difference is incredible. She also helped educate on how to care for my hair & how she was cutting it and why, which was great to be guided through. I stumbled upon BSH on Instagram and so glad I did. Everyone in the salon is incredibly nice and good-hearted, making you welcome the moment you walk in. The atmosphere at the salon is fresh and cool, like you’re hanging out at a friend’s apartment. I drive about 35 minutes to get here, and well worth it. Highly recommend BSH & the team there!

This was my first visit with Savannah, I drove from Salem, VA to have her as my stylist. And yes she was very bit worth that 2hr and 45 min drive to her and back home again later.
